I'm Charlie. I'm an MBA student and engineer in her late 20's who lives in southern California. Like most people my age, I like to travel (no, I'm not going to say I love to travel as my passport stamps cannot back that statement up). I've moved around the U.S. quite a bit but one day I'd like to have visited more countries than I have states. At the moment, I've lived in England and Wales and have visited Germany, Austria and Greece.
The name of my blog is definitely a bit pretentious sounding, but I promise, it has an explanation! For my last study abroad experience, my sister gave me a gift with the words "Adventure Capitalist" stamped on it. I loved it! Add in that the class I took in the following couple weeks required me at one point to role play a venture capitalist, and I thought that the name was somewhat appropriate.
I'll be honest: I'm going to use this blog to reminisce about my travels. However, I'm also hoping to put together a bit of a one stop shop for other business students who are preparing to study and work abroad. I'll try include general information, sights to see, business practices, and what to pack (my biggest concern!). The posts will likely be short at first, while I try find my voice but I'm hoping I'll get in the swing of things before long!
